ARTIST NOTES: This painting is one of my 4 ocean series in oil based resin paints from France. It has been framed in a slim classic white wood frame. One can see movement , and crashing of ocean waves and various depths and ocean spaces. Maybe this could be paired with another in the series to form a set, if desired.

ARTIST BIO

 Inese Edwards - Melbourne Artistst

I have worked with various media including pastels, water colour , and particularly oils.  I have also  tried other media in the form of resin paints, acrylics and alcohol inks, which lend themselves perfectly to abstract work. I have really enjoying painting pieces in fluid acrylics creating organinc and cell like structures and experimenting with the magical effects of these.

Currently I am fascinated with Australian eucalyptus trees , flowers and seed pods , which are particularly beautiful and I paint these in oils.

I also like to paint close up images of flowers and fruits and I like the effect of shine and transparency and light, sun and shadows. I like bold colours and abstract shapes and forms, and the abstract flow of paint and the surprises it leads me to.

I also like to do smaller pieces  and designs which I call minis, and creating hand painted mini pieces for greeting cards. A lot of my art and designs can be viewed on Instagram under @artplusart_inese.edwards

My work can also be found on Pinterest under Inese Edwards.

I have exhibited my paintings in approximately 23 shows including Melbourne and regional.
